Is there anything you can do to prevent it? Educating Our Children for Emotional Intelligence is the first step to addressing and preventing the problem of school violence. In this course you'll learn how to increase the awareness of educators, parents, and students about the importance of emotional intelligence. You'll be able to assess your school system's current efforts to educate students on this front. And you'll also learn the value of intervening by forming a committee to explore existing programs, pilot and evaluate the chosen program, and improve the program in years to come. Duration: 1 hour
